The Radium Engineering Air Oil Separator Kit w/ Master Cylinder Brace - High-powered modified Subaru engines tend to generate excessive blow-by oil and gases. In these cases, an ordinary small catch can may quickly fill with oil and not be adequate. Like the Radium Engineering Subaru Dual Catch Can the AOS (Air Oil Separator) kit is responsible for keeping blow-by oil and other pollutants out of the intake pipe, manifold, turbocharger, and intercooler during all engine loads. The main difference is that an AOS system returns what is collected back into the oil pan so there is no servicing required. The built-in heater keep water from condensing in the AOS, making sure ONLY oil is returned back to the oil pan, not a milky sludge.
The AOS is constructed of CNC machined sections that screw together and are sealed with O-rings. The AOS can be completely disassembled for cleaning or servicing.
This Radium Engineering master cylinder brace is compatible with the left hand drive (LHD) 2015+ Subaru WRX, 2015+ Subaru WRX STi, and 2014+ Forester XT. The 6061 billet aluminum brace reduces firewall flex for a more positive pedal feel. It mounts to pre-existing threaded holes in the engine bay and requires no permanent vehicle modification.
Because the master cylinder flexes in an arcuate path, a specially designed CNC machined foot contacts the master cylinder to counteract the arc movement. Preload is adjusted with the anodized aluminum green bolt then locked in place with the stainless steel jam nut. Installation is simple and takes less than 30 minutes.
