COMPETITION SERIES PACKAGE
IAG now offers our V2 Oil Pickup, Competition Series Baffle and Windage Tray combined with our Competition Oil Pan as a complete package. This bundle is designed to work together as a complete unit. The IAG EJ Competition Series Oil Pan Package comes complete with all the necessary components and hardware required to replace the oil pan on your WRX, STI, Legacy GT or Forester XT Subaru.
INCREASED OIL CAPACITY
The IAG EJ Competition Series Oil Pan Package was created for Subaru WRX, STI, LGT, and FXT models. Its distinctive CNC-machined design makes it suitable for both street and track applications. This Competition Series Oil Pan is made from durable cast aluminum and it is compatible with various popular headers. The oil capacity of this pan surpasses the OEM version by up to 30%.
REDUCED OIL TEMP & BOTTOM FACING DRAIN PLUG
The Competition Series Oil Pan uses external cooling fins to help dissipate heat from the oil as air flows over them. It also comes with a bottom-facing drain plug for convenient maintenance access and to ensure thorough removal of any remaining used oil during servicing. The EJ Comp Series Oil Pan comes with a 1/8th inch NPT port, allowing for compatibility with various popular oil temperature sensors. In the event that you don't use the sensor port, we've provided a 1/8th inch NPT plug to seal the sensor housing.
ADVANCED ENGINEERING
The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan incorporates several thoughtfully designed features, such as an OEM-style drain plug and crush ring that removes the necessity to look for specialty washer sizes. The upper flange surface is precision-machined for better hardware fitment. The pan includes a molded o-ring for the upper flange, allowing for easier installation and removal, and there is no need to use silicone sealant when installing. The pan is designed to use the included OEM style Viton dipstick o-rings and has a unique chamfer to aid in the installation of the dipstick.
THE COMPETITION SERIES OIL BAFFLE
The IAG Competition Series Oil Baffle limits potential blow-by and prevents oil starvation in your Subaru’s engine when driving at high RPMs and high g-force driving. The Competition Series Baffle is recommended for vehicles that will be used on the track, but is suitable for street applications as well. Our Comp Series baffle features Viton one-way flapper valves that retain oil in the area nearest to the pickup. By combining the baffle with the louvers in our windage tray, oil is prevented from reentering the upper crankcase region and is instead directed into the oil pan, ensuring a continuous supply to the oil pickup.
THE IAG WINDAGE TRAY
The IAG Windage Tray guides oil from the upper crankcase down into the lower crankcase and oil pan region. Made from stainless steel, its precisely formed louvers direct oil downward, preventing oil draining from the cylinder heads in the lower crankcase area from splashing upward into the path of the crankshaft and connecting rods, which reduces aeration.
THE IAG V2 OIL PICKUP
The IAG V2 Oil Pickup is designed to replace the OEM EJ25 oil pickup, which is susceptible to failure. The OEM Subaru oil pickups are known to develop cracks and eventually fail, causing engine damage due to inadequate oil pressure. To address the issues of the OEM pickups, IAG has constructed the V2 pickup from heavy-gauge steel tubing that is twice as thick as the factory version. It also comes with a 3/8" stainless steel flange that has been precision-machined for an exact fit and sealed with a Viton O-ring. The integrated stainless steel mounting bracket uses two mounting points, compared to the single mounting point on the factory part. The increased thickness of the TIG-welded V2 Oil Pickup, along with the two-point heavy-duty mounting configuration safeguards against failure and fatigue.
